Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located in a quiet countryside area, providing a tranquil setting with green surroundings. The rooms are very basic and in need of refurbishment, lacking amenities like TV and wifi. The service was pleasant but somewhat blase at times. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some dishes being excellent while others were cold. The facilities need improvement to match guest expectations.
The hotel had a basic youth hostel feel to it but was clean. The room consisted of 4 single bunk beds, which my son loved, but it was surprising. However, it was filthy with cobwebs everywhere, dirty windows, shower, and plumbing pipework.
The hotel offers a peaceful stay surrounded by nature in a historic setting, although lacking modern amenities in the rooms. The service is friendly and accommodating, making the best of the circumstances. The location provides a remote and beautiful countryside experience, though challenging to find in the dark. The dining is a delightful experience with eco-friendly touches. Overall, a charming retreat for those seeking tranquility.
The hotel rooms are in chalet form around a courtyard, quite dated but clean and equipped with en-suite and tea & coffee making facilities. The service was friendly and helpful, especially with directions. The location is peaceful, great for visiting Chester Zoo and relaxing. The dining offers delicious options but the dining room is cramped. The property has lovely gardens and caters mainly to breakfast. The facilities are decent.
I had a lovely time at Trafford Hall. The rooms were good value for what we paid, making it a lovely venue for a relaxing and unstuffy wedding. The staff were friendly and the food was good, even though the breakfast was very filling. However, I wouldn't stay again as I believe there is better value for money in the surrounding area.
